All tours each year with 4-6 Pax per tour are personally guided by Peter Hasler (Owner/Operator). Peter will be your guide, driver, cook but above all, companion and friend.
The most important ingredients for success of a tour apart from an experienced likable guide are, a carefully chosen itinerary and first class equipment. Peter has a strong emphasis on quality in all aspects of his operation. Only late model air-conditioned vehicles are used. The trailer, designed and custom-built by Peter himself turns heads everywhere and he has heard many other tour guide saying: “I wish my Boss would give me something like this.”
Built for the tough Outback roads and tracks, the trailer is absolutely dust proof and fully insulated. This not only guarantees full protection of your luggage and the camping gear, but also most importantly, total cleanness in the kitchen compartment and total hygiene with food items carried.
The modified Toyota Landcruiser Troopcarrier carries 6 Pax comfortably. The vehicle is fully equipped with everything required for safe traveling in remote areas. This includes a late model 2-way emergency radio with contact to any Royal Flying Doctor Service Station from anywhere. Also an easily operated Epirb (Satellite Emergency Signal) and a First Aid kit is carried. (Peter has extensive first aid training which he updates regularly). However fortunately all this has never been required in the past, then when it comes to safety and your well-being, Peter does not compromise.
Further a number of water tanks holds more than 220 litres of water which is enough to provide you with a daily shower even in the remotest area. A water purification filter is fitted to the trailer and provides clean drinking water at all times.
The vehicle also features a 80 l fridge/freezer which not only provides cold drinks but also allows the storage of everything required to serve you a gourmet meal every day.
The Solar panel installed on the roof rack supplies the required power which is only one of the many contributions to ecological friendly touring. Many Operators print and claim to be Eco tour Operators – We live it!
